Arvy placed an interesting question at http://reboot.pro/16187/ and it would be nice to have a new feature available for winbuilder users.
The idea is create an updates.ini file based on the scripts that are published on the downloads portal of reboot.
This way, users can grab new scripts directly from the download center on winbuilder instead of needing to grab them automatically.
I think this idea is worth implementing, if made available then it has the potential to ease the life of end users and help promoting the new works from our developers.
Peter has already tried to bring this idea to life but it did not work by simple scrapping of the web site page. I suggested that we pool directly the mySQL database and get all information from there. Extra points if PHP is used so that we apply a CRON task to run this update every hour or so.
If there are volunteers willing to help us bring this idea to reality, it would be superb.
