Boot BOOTSDI.IMG as drive C: ?

When BOOTSDI.IMG is booted from g4d, the 'boot drive/s' end up as X: & B:.

Is it possible to modify/replace files in the IMG so that it boots as C: ? Like a 'regular' XP ?

What is the exact boot sequence for a BOOTSDI.IMG ?
